When surfing the Internet it is very likely that sooner or later you will end up with a certain script whose origin you don't know. In these cases it is useful to have an add-on such as NoScript with which you can set a blocking of both the scripts and the plugins you distrust.
Any Java element is lockable with a simple click, and changes are immediately applied in Mozilla Firefox.
If certain web pages are completely trustworthy, you have the possibility of adding their respective URLs to a white list of NoScript so that each and every one of their scripts can function normally.
